Long Island's oldest and most successful professional wrestling school , NYWC has been training young talent since 2001. NYWC has produced many dynamic wrestlers, including several that have been featured on WWE, AEW, Impact, & NJPW.

Our trainers Mike Mondo, Michael Mistretta, and Dickie Rodz are eager to share their knowledge with you!

Mondo brings two decades of experience to the table. Over the years he has worked for companies such as WWE, ROH, OVW, MLW, & more. He has gotten to share the ring with the likes of Ric Flair, Triple H, & Shawn Michaels. He once held The WWE World Tag Team Championships as Mikey in The Spirit Squad. Mondo is considered by many to be one of the greatest minds in the wrestling business.

Mistretta has over 8 years of experience and is an active independent wrestler traveling to different shows and seminars every week including a tour of Europe. He has a great understanding of the current independent scene and has wrestled for companies such as ROH, MLW, & Evolve.

Dickie has been in the wrestling business for over 20 years and is the first student to ever walk through the doors of NYWC. He is a veteran of the independent scene and knows how to survive in the wrestling business both in and out of the ring.

 

Some of our graduates include Zack Ryder/Matt Cardona, Curt Hawkins/Brian Myers, Trent Baretta,  Mike Mondo, Tony Nese, John Silver, Alex Reynolds, Willow Nightingale, & Alex Coughlin. We also trained Ashley Massaro prior to her signing with WWE and Reby Sky (WWE / TNA). Many of these individuals visit our academy as special guest trainers!

Tuition is $200 per month.

 

Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm-10pm and Sundays from 1:30pm-5pm. Once a student becomes advanced they are eligible to train during off hours.
